Buffalo Chicken Wings

You will need:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 chicken wings
oil for deep frying
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup hot sauce
1 dash ground black pepper
1 dash garlic powder

One of the keys to easy cooking is to mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl before you spread them on the meat or whatever you’re cooking. This ensures a much better coverage and homogeneous mixture of ingredients.

Once you have all the dry stuff mixed up you can coat the chicken with it. Then you can let them soak in for about an hour until they have permeated the meat. Chicken does not have a lot of flavor on its own, but it receives other flavors very well.

While this is setting aside you can heat a pan with enough oil to cover the entire wing to 375 degrees. Fry the wings until they become a golden brown then put them on a paper towel to get off the excess oil.

In another saucepan stir the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder. Once the wings are all cooked you can stir them in the sauce and then serve.

Serve with celery and ranch or blue cheese for traditional compliments.
